These terms apply to every order placed on leighwolfaardt.com. Please read them before you buy. By placing an order, you agree to them.
About us
This website is run by Leigh Wolfaardt, a sole proprietor trading as Leigh Wolfaardt Fine Art and Prints, based in Stanford, 7210, South Africa. You can contact us at [email protected] or through the contact form.
Our prints and products
- We describe and photograph every item as accurately as we can. Colours can look slightly different on different screens, so a print may vary a little from what you see online.
- Limited edition prints are produced in the number stated on the product page.
- Some items are sold by enquiry only. Use the Enquire button on the product page and we’ll reply with details.
Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in US dollars (US$) and include the item only. Delivery is added at checkout.
- You can pay through PayPal, either from your PayPal account or by card, or by bank transfer. If you pay in another currency, PayPal or your bank converts it and may charge a fee.
- If you choose bank transfer, our bank details and your payment reference are shown after you order and in your order email. We hold your order until the payment arrives, and may cancel it if the payment doesn’t arrive.
- If a price is shown wrongly because of an error, we’ll contact you before your order is sent, and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Your order
After you place an order, you’ll receive an email confirming it. If we can’t fulfil an order, for example because an item has just sold out, we’ll let you know and refund you in full.
Delivery
- International orders are posted from the United Kingdom. Delivery is a flat rate of US$25 per order unless stated otherwise. Delivery times depend on the destination; orders to some countries, such as the USA and Australia, can take up to four weeks.
- South African orders are printed locally and cost US$12 to deliver. Please allow 10 working days.
- Orders to other countries may attract import duties or taxes in the destination country. These are paid by the buyer.
- If your parcel hasn’t arrived after the expected time, please contact us and we’ll help trace it.
Returns and refunds
Our Refund and Returns Policy explains what to do if an item arrives damaged, or if you change your mind.
Copyright
All artworks, images and text on this website are © Leigh Wolfaardt. Buying a print gives you the print itself, not the copyright or the right to reproduce the artwork. Please don’t copy, reproduce or use the artwork commercially without written permission.
Charity sales
Where a product description says that part of the sale goes to a cause, we donate that share as described on the product page.
Our responsibility to you
We’re responsible for delivering the items you order as described. We’re not responsible for losses that weren’t foreseeable when you placed your order, or for delays caused by events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer protection law.
Your privacy
We only use your details to process and deliver your order and to reply to you. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you place your order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
